Explore the Heritage Rail Trail County Park

Feeling full after eating all the delicious food from our local merchants at The Markets? The York Heritage Rail Trail is the perfect place to enjoy an active excursion out in nature.

This beautiful spot includes up to 176 acres of gorgeous scenery, running slightly to the North of the Mason Dixon line. As you walk, you may also see any of the 3 historic structures located along the trail (including Hanover Junction, New Freedom Train Station, and the Howard Tunnel).
